About Us
We are an Independent Wine Merchant based in Hampshire with a varied selection of individual wines.

As an experienced buyer, marketeer, presenter and International wine judge Chris has been in the wine industry for over 25 years. At Altus he sources wines that we all love to drink. Our list is small, varied and changes regularly. Because we love the wines we buy we sell all our wines in cases of 6 (except our fine wine range) because simply one bottle is never enough!

We have a passion for wine which we love to share. We do that face to face, at our tasting events, on the phone and over email. What better way to discover new wines than by a tutored tasting event or having a chat on the phone.

We conduct tutored tastings across the UK. Themes are many and varied and can be by Country, Grape Variety or 2 favourites “Taste Like An Expert – A structured approach to tasting and analysing a wines quality or another favourite “Latest Finds”
Latest finds usually links in with our latest list. Your budget will dictate the quantity and quality of the wines you taste.
